Step Three of the YTT Educational Program in Rome, Italy:

“Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow” (YTT) is continuing to advance and progress, with the inclusion of comprehensive scientific research, with our pilot Educational Program in Italy. This is in collaboration with the Department of Education at Roma Tre University, in a number of Primary Schools in the city, mainly: Istituto Comprensivo Artemisia Gentileschi Primary School, Istituto Comprensivo Simonetta Salacone Primary School, Istituto Comprensivo Nando Martellini Primary School, Istituto Comprensivo Stefanelli Primary School and the Istituto San Giovanni Bosco delle FMA School.

Several of the schools teachers at Istituto Comprensivo Artemisia Gentileschi Primary School, including Maria Catalano have been working with their students to learn more about the refugee/migrant crisis through the YTT drawing exercises, and create their own Yesterday’s, Today’s and Tomorrow’s. Through these exercises, the children develop their skills in comprehension, as well as empathy.

The aim of our YTT Educational Program is to aid a global refugee/migrant understanding/integration, build on anti-discrimination and a pro diversity, anti-racism practice, which in turn, promotes equality and fundamental human rights.
