The YTT Peace-Building through Art and Education program, implemented in collaboration with the War Childhood Museum, promoted peace-building among schoolchildren from diverse backgrounds through our art-based learning approach. The program directly engaged students and teachers, fostering empathy and awareness about the impacts of war, while indirectly benefiting family members and community members by creating safer environments. Participants reported enhanced dialogue and understanding, which contributed to community cohesion and improved relationships among children of different national and religious backgrounds. Additionally, the program equipped teachers with practical art tools to facilitate inclusive classroom environments, ultimately empowering both children and teachers to creatively address conflicts and build a culture of peace within their communities.

2 Refugee Camps: 1. AidBrigade Community Centre, Sarajevo. 2. Ušivak Refugee Camp, Ušivak.
Our Art-Therapy Mental Health Support program utilised artistic therapeutic methods to assist participants, primarily from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Morocco, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, in coping with anxiety and depression, while enhancing emotional resilience and general well-being. Targeting refugees and asylum seekers who encountered distinct challenges and traumas, the program enabled these individuals to creatively express themselves, facilitating the processing of their experiences and emotions. In line with the YTT Learning Approach, the program employed evidence-based strategies and tailored interventions to cater to the unique requirements of each participant. This comprehensive approach also fostered a deeper sense of community and connection among the participants
