The YTT Gender-Equality Education/GBV Prevention program's inaugural year showcased its huge potential.
Its multifaceted approach facilitated direct schoolchildren engagement, empowered teachers, fostered community commitment, and integrated into the refugee school system, constantly promoting gender equality and addressing GBV.
YTT Gender-Equality Education/GBV Prevention program - Uganda, since May 2022
Implemented in Bidi Bidi, Rwamwanja, and Nakivale refugee settlements, the program strategically targeted areas with high refugee populations.
